EARTH'S GIANT MIRROR
In Salar de Uyuni there is a salt flat over 4000 square miles. After a rainfall, this entire flat surface becomes one massive mirror reflecting sky for as far as the eye can see. During a Nature Photography shoot in 2005, filmmakers witnessed a disturbing phenomenon: giant black birds dropped from the sky, smashing themselves to bloody pieces against the salt flat while apparently attacking their own reflections.
